Jerrold J. Kartzinel, M.D.
Dr. Kartzinel, Board Certified in Pediatrics, received his undergraduate degree at California State University, Northridge. From there he went to St. Louis University School of Medicine and received his Medical Doctorate in 1987. And finally, he completed his pediatric residency at Medical Center Keesler, at Keesler Air Force Base, Biloxi Mississippi and is a Board Certified Pediatrician. After serving in Desert Storm, Dr. Kartzinel went into private practice.
Dr. Kartzinel and his wife Donna have been married since 1981 and have four boys, David, John, Mark, and Joshua. Joshua, their youngest, has autism, which developed shortly after his 15th month MMR immunization. Like so many parents, this started Dr. Kartzinel and his wife down a very long road of research and treatment, not only for their son, but for the many behaviorally impaired and autistic children that were already in his private practice. It was not too long after Joshua’s diagnosis that Dr. Kartzinel was specializing in the research and treatment of autistic spectrum disorder.
